CHALLENGES

Boosting access to endurance sports events is one of our core tenets. To this end, we offer group virtual challenges where, on a specific date, a group of women participate in an event simultaneously, wherever they are located, after having prepared together online and individually following our training plan over the 8 or more weeks preceding.

Challenges will be 1 or 2 days depending on design. Examples include:

1) Scavenger Hunt Challenge: while you’re walking, running, cycling, etc., you not only find things, but also give things away to others such as high fives, compliments, or a smile

2) Intermittent Endurance Challenge: doing your favorite exercise/s (e.g. walking, dancing, golfing, running) intermittently for 12 or 24 hours

3) Destination Challenge: choosing your favorite destination and exercise, and simulating “traveling” there through accumulating time or mileage

Virtual group activities will take place in the weeks leading to each challenge and include weekly happy hours where the group gets to know one another, asks questions about training, and learns about topics relevant to both preparing for the event and overall well-being. There is also a private chat group to keep the dialogue rolling.

Each participant receives a standard training plan for the upcoming event (with the option to upgrade to a completely customized training plan) and swag.

The cost for each challenge will vary with its duration and design. For example, a single-day challenge such as the scavenger hunt would be approximately $99, and a two-day destination challenge would be $149.
